Agoda Data Scraping & API Options
Need Agoda hotel rates, room availability, rankings or property data for pricing intelligence, metasearch or hotel-market analysis?
NenoData can help define the requirement, determine whether Agoda's official Demand API or Supply APIs are the better fit, preserve the stay and occupancy context behind each rate, and scope structured hotel or OTA data delivery where supported.
Agoda's current Terms prohibit using automated software or processes to monitor, copy, extract, export or scrape platform content. They also prohibit accessing or reproducing content through robots, spiders, scrapers or similar automated tools without Agoda's prior express written permission.
Agoda also has a substantial official API ecosystem. Its Demand API supports approved partners that need hotel content, rates, availability and booking workflows, including an Online Affiliate/MSE model for hotel-comparison products. Separate Supply APIs serve properties and channel managers that need to manage rates, availability, inventory and bookings on Agoda.
Data sample request: use after the access route and field scope are confirmed.

What Is an Agoda Scraper?
An Agoda scraper generally refers to software or a managed workflow intended to turn Agoda-visible hotel and travel information into structured records. For hotel-focused projects, potential fields may include:
- • property ID
- • property name
- • destination
- • address or location
- • check-in
- • check-out
- • rooms
- • adults
- • child ages where relevant
- • currency
- • locale
- • room type
- • rate plan
- • nightly rate
- • total amount
- • taxes and fees
- • availability
- • cancellation conditions
- • promotions
- • rating
- • review count
- • result position
- • source URL
- • capture timestamp
Agoda should not be treated as a static hotel directory. The more useful analytical unit is:
property + stay dates + occupancy + room/rate context + currency + source context + captured_at
The first buyer decision should therefore be: Do you need Agoda's official lodging supply, Agoda-specific consumer-channel observations, or broader hotel-market data?
Who Operates Agoda?
Agoda is operated by Agoda Company Pte. Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, and is part of Booking Holdings. Agoda describes itself as a digital travel platform covering hotels and holiday properties, flights, activities, and other travel services.
For this page, hotel pricing and availability remain the primary focus because that is the dominant commercial intent behind agoda scraper.
Being part of Booking Holdings does not mean Agoda observations should be treated as interchangeable with Booking.com. For analytical work, preserve source_brand = Agoda because displayed rates, promotions, ranking, review pools, and localization can differ.
Agoda Scraper vs Official Agoda APIs
Agoda offers more official API options than many OTA sources, making access-route selection a central buying decision.
| Route | Best suited to | Access model | Main boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agoda Demand API | Travel products consuming Agoda hotel inventory, rates and booking flows | Agoda partner onboarding + credentials | Official forward-distribution product |
| Online Affiliate / MSE model | Metasearch and hotel-price comparison | Approved Demand API partnership | Search API-focused |
| Agoda Supply APIs | Hotels, channel managers and connectivity systems managing Agoda inventory | Supply/connectivity partner relationship | Supply-side rather than market-observation use |
| Authorized Agoda page observation | Channel-specific pricing, ranking or market analysis | Prior express written permission / approved basis | Consumer-channel observation |
| Other approved OTA sources | Multi-channel pricing and benchmarking | Source-by-source scope | Different channel context |
If the buyer needs hotel inventory for a travel product or price-comparison site, Agoda's official Demand API may be the better route. If the buyer specifically needs to study what the Agoda consumer channel displays, that is a different requirement.
What Is Agoda Demand API?
Agoda Demand is the official forward-distribution API environment for partners that want to consume Agoda lodging inventory. Depending on the commercial model, the API ecosystem can support property content, room availability, rates, search, booking, pre-check or availability validation, cancellation, and other post-booking functions.
Agoda currently documents several partnership models:
Online Affiliate / MSE
Designed for online affiliates and metasearch engines comparing hotel prices. Agoda says this model uses its availability/rate Search API and is intended to provide the information needed for hotel comparison.
Agoda Fulfill Assisted
Partners integrate Search and Book, while Agoda handles payment and post-booking customer service.
Partner Fulfillment
Partners can integrate Search and Book plus optional post-booking services and assume more control over payment and customer service.
These are official commercial integration routes — not unrestricted anonymous APIs.
Agoda's Online Affiliate / MSE Model
This is particularly relevant to companies searching for an Agoda scraper. If the goal is “show or compare Agoda hotel rates alongside other sources,” Agoda already has an official API model specifically designed for online affiliates and metasearch engines. Under that model, the core integration is the Search API.
That means some businesses may have a stronger official route than direct consumer-page extraction. A metasearch or hotel-comparison buyer should therefore ask:
- 1.Are we eligible for Agoda's Online Affiliate/MSE partnership?
- 2.Does the Search API provide the rates and availability we need?
- 3.Do we need Agoda consumer-channel presentation data, or only lodging supply?
- 4.Are rankings, promotions or consumer merchandising itself part of the research question?
If official inventory is sufficient, the Demand API may be the cleaner option.
What Does Agoda Search API Return?
Agoda's official Availability Search API returns room rates and availability for specified hotels according to search criteria including:
- • property IDs
- • check-in
- • check-out
- • number of rooms
- • adults
- • children
- • child ages
- • language
- • currency
- • user country
Optional response detail can include property content, daily rates, benefits, cancellation details, promotions, taxes, fees, rate detail, and surcharge detail.
This official request model reinforces an important analytical rule: an Agoda rate without its search context is incomplete.
Agoda Demand API Authentication
Agoda's official APIs require authentication. Current Demand documentation supports OAuth 2.0 and API-key authentication during the current transition period. The Search API requires partner identity credentials such as a site ID and authentication credentials. Agoda's current documentation identifies OAuth 2.0 as the recommended method and states that it is intended to become the standard connection method by the end of 2026.
Agoda API access is partner access — not an unrestricted public endpoint.
NenoData does not claim that credentials are available without onboarding, that it can issue Agoda credentials, that it already holds credentials, or that anyone can call the official API anonymously.
What Are Agoda Supply APIs?
Agoda's Supply APIs operate in the opposite direction from Demand APIs. They are designed for accommodation providers, channel managers and direct-connect partners that need to publish and manage inventory on Agoda. Current supply-side products include:
- • YCS API
- • OTA API
- • Content Push API
- • Promotion API
- • related connectivity services
Typical supply-side functions include updating rates, availability, inventory, restrictions; managing products, rooms, rate plans, property content; and retrieving or processing bookings/cancellations.
“How do we send our room inventory to Agoda?”
→ Supply API problem
“How do we consume Agoda hotel rates?”
→ Demand API problem
“What does Agoda display to consumers vs other OTAs?”
→ Channel-observation problem
Agoda Demand API vs Supply API
| Question | Demand API | Supply API |
|---|---|---|
| Who is it for? | Travel sellers, affiliates, metasearch, distribution partners | Hotels, channel managers, connectivity providers |
| Main direction | Agoda → partner | Property/partner → Agoda |
| Search hotel rates? | Yes, depending on partnership model | Not its primary purpose |
| Book Agoda inventory? | Supported in relevant models | Receives/manages bookings |
| Update hotel rates on Agoda? | No | Yes |
| Update inventory on Agoda? | No | Yes |
| Best fit for competitor observation? | Not necessarily | No |
The phrase "Agoda API" is too ambiguous by itself. Demand and Supply serve fundamentally different workflows.
Agoda Hotel Search Context Matters
A rate should preserve the conditions that generated it. For example, Hotel A — 120 is analytically incomplete without also knowing check-in, check-out, room count, adults, children, currency, language/locale, market context, room type, rate conditions, and capture time.
A better normalized record looks conceptually like:
property + dates + occupancy + currency + locale + room/rate + price + captured_at
This makes the dataset usable for rate benchmarking, parity analysis, historical comparison, and market research.
Complete Agoda Rate Observation
A rate without search context cannot be reliably compared or benchmarked.

Potential Agoda Property Fields
Where supported by the selected authorized route, property-level fields may include:
| Category | Potential fields |
|---|---|
| Identity | Property ID, property name |
| Location | Destination, address, city, country |
| Classification | Property type, star/category where available |
| Reputation | Rating, review count |
| Amenities | Public property amenities where permitted |
| Geography | Coordinates where available |
| Metadata | Source URL, source brand, capture timestamp |
These are potential fields rather than guarantees. Exact availability should be confirmed during scoping.
Potential Agoda Room and Rate Fields
Offer-level fields may include:
- • room type
- • rate plan
- • occupancy
- • nightly rate
- • total amount
- • currency
- • tax amount or tax text
- • fee amount or fee text
- • inclusions
- • benefits
- • cancellation terms
- • promotion detail
- • visible availability
- • payment model
- • capture timestamp
Agoda's official Search API itself distinguishes rates excluding taxes/fees, rates including taxes/fees, total payment, per-room-per-night rate, discounts and strike-through values, and cancellation terms — making it particularly important not to store every numeric rate as one generic price.
Nightly Rate vs Total Amount
A hotel-pricing dataset should clearly distinguish among: nightly rate, total stay amount, rate excluding taxes, rate including taxes, fees, promotional savings, and original/strike-through rate. For example, rate_amount = 100 is ambiguous. A stronger schema might include:
nightly_rate_exclusive nightly_rate_inclusive total_amount tax_amount fee_amount strike_through_rate saving_amount currency
Not every source will provide every field. The point is to retain price semantics wherever the approved source makes them available.
Public, Promotional and Logged-In Agoda Prices
Not every Agoda price should automatically be treated as a universal public rate. Depending on the source state and access route, a rate may be:
- • generic/public
- • promotional
- • coupon-eligible
- • account-specific
- • signed-in/member
- • partner/API-specific
For analytical work, those categories should not be merged blindly. Where known, preserve fields such as price_context, promotion_text, promotion_id, authenticated_state, or partner_rate_context.
Authenticated or account-specific Agoda access requires separate authorization and privacy/access review. NenoData does not position logged-in account extraction as ordinary public scraping.
Search Price vs Bookable Price
A rate returned in search or observed on a consumer page is not necessarily the final guaranteed price at booking. Conditions may change because of:
- • availability
- • inventory changes
- • taxes or fees
- • room selection
- • cancellation conditions
- • promotion qualification
- • partner rules
- • time elapsed
For analytics, a record should be described as: an observed or returned rate for defined criteria at a defined time — rather than: a guaranteed final booking price.
Agoda Rankings and Search Positions
Some analytical projects may care about where a property appears in Agoda search results. If ranking is part of the approved source workflow, a useful record should preserve destination, check-in, check-out, occupancy, currency, locale, applied sort, filters, result position, property, and capture timestamp.
Do not store rank = 5 without query context. A better description is: observed at position 5 under the defined search conditions at the captured time.
Ranking is a search observation — not a permanent property attribute.
Agoda Reviews and Reputation Data
Potential structured reputation fields may include average rating, review count, rating distribution where visible, traveler/stay metadata where permitted, source reference, and capture timestamp.
Agoda's current Terms explicitly include ratings and reviews among the content covered by its automated-collection restrictions. Review-related collection should therefore remain conditional on the approved source route.
Structured factual metadata is different from wholesale reuse of review text, images or other protected content. For analytics, prioritize ratings, counts, distributions, selected structured metadata, and source references.
Agoda vs Booking.com and Other OTAs
Agoda and Booking.com are both part of Booking Holdings, but they remain distinct consumer channels. For channel comparison, preserve source_brand, source-specific property ID, stay context, room/rate context, pricing, promotion, ranking, reputation fields, and capture time — then perform entity matching separately.
Conceptual structure (illustrative only):
canonical_property_id

captured_at: ...
- source_brand: Booking.com

Potential Agoda Data Use Cases
Where the selected access route supports the requirement:
Hotel rate benchmarking
Compare Agoda rates with other approved channels under equivalent stay conditions.
OTA parity analysis
Study channel-level price differences after normalizing room, occupancy, taxes and rate conditions.
Metasearch integration
Use Agoda's official Online Affiliate/MSE model where the buyer qualifies and needs Agoda rates for a hotel-comparison product.
Availability monitoring
Track approved visible or API-returned availability for defined properties and dates.
Promotion monitoring
Record promotion and discount context where the approved source exposes it.
Ranking and visibility analysis
Track result positions under reproducible search parameters where authorized.
Reputation analysis
Use ratings, review counts and other approved structured metadata.
Hotel-market research
Build property/rate datasets for destinations and markets.
Travel-product enrichment
Use official Agoda Demand APIs when the need is lodging content, rates or booking functionality inside a product.
These use cases do not imply that NenoData already maintains Agoda production data.
Choosing the Right Route
When Agoda Demand API is better
Evaluate first when the buyer needs official Agoda hotel inventory, room availability, hotel rates, content, metasearch integration, hotel search, booking flows, or post-booking functionality.
Especially important for online travel sellers, affiliates, metasearch engines, and travel applications.
When Agoda Supply API is better
Use when the buyer is a hotel, hotel group, channel manager, property-management technology provider, or connectivity platform that needs to publish rates, availability, inventory, or manage bookings.
Supply API is not designed as a competitor-price intelligence feed.
When broader monitoring is better
A buyer searching for an Agoda scraper may really need “hotel pricing across Agoda, Booking.com and other channels.” NenoData's broader Hotel Data Scraping and OTA Data Scraping services support multi-source workflows.
Use Agoda-specific page when Agoda itself is material.
How NenoData Would Scope an Agoda Requirement
Define the business objective
Clarify whether the project concerns Agoda rate monitoring, metasearch, API integration, hotel supply integration, ranking, reviews, OTA parity, or broader market research.
Identify the correct Agoda route
Determine whether the buyer needs Demand API, Online Affiliate/MSE model, Supply API, authorized Agoda consumer observation, or another approved OTA source.
Confirm partner or access status
For official APIs, confirm partnership model, obtain Agoda-issued credentials through the appropriate commercial process, and complete testing/certification as required. For direct platform observation, confirm prior express written permission or another approved basis.
Define search context
Specify properties or destination, check-in, check-out, rooms, adults, child ages, currency, locale, user country/market, and filters/sort where relevant.
Define schema
Agree fields for property, room, rate, total, taxes/fees, cancellation, promotions, availability, reputation, ranking, and source metadata.
Validate representative output
Confirm nightly vs total rate, tax inclusion, fee semantics, promotion state, price context, occupancy, null behavior, and source identity.
Normalize and validate
Prepare records for the agreed downstream schema while preserving source-specific semantics.
Agree cadence and delivery
Depending on the approved NenoData workflow, outputs may include CSV, Excel, JSON, API-ready records, scheduled feeds, or database/warehouse-ready files.
Operate only within confirmed scope
Do not assume that access to one Agoda route or product grants access to every source state, rate type, or dataset.
Agoda Access and Compliance Boundaries
Agoda's current Terms are explicit. They prohibit using manual or automated software or processes to monitor, copy, extract, export, scrape, spider, index, store, or rehost platform content. They also prohibit using robots, spiders, scrapers or other automated means to access, monitor, copy or reproduce content for any purpose without Agoda's prior express written permission.
The Terms also prohibit unauthorized access, reverse engineering, interference with the platform, and attempts to access Agoda systems without authorization.
Direct Agoda automated collection should therefore be described as requiring prior express written permission or another clearly approved route — rather than assumed available.
NenoData does not claim unrestricted Agoda scraping, permission-free automated extraction, bot or CAPTCHA bypass, IP-block circumvention, reverse engineering, unlimited scraping, or arbitrary authenticated-account extraction.
What NenoData Can Support
At the broader hotel and OTA level, NenoData currently supports workflows involving:
- • property names
- • property IDs where available
- • locations
- • room types
- • hotel rates
- • total prices where displayed
- • currency
- • taxes and fees text
- • availability signals
- • promotions

NenoData's current Hotel Data Scraping service states that supported sources, markets and formats are confirmed during scoping rather than assumed in advance. Its Travel & Hospitality Data Scraping service supports listing-level hotel and OTA records with database and warehouse-ready delivery where confirmed.
NenoData's Web Scraping API supports managed programmatic delivery from approved sources with defined schemas and sample evaluation.
These capabilities support an Agoda feasibility engagement. They do not independently establish Agoda-specific permission or API credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Discuss Your Agoda Data Requirements
Tell us whether the requirement concerns Agoda hotel rates, availability, metasearch integration, rankings, reviews, official Demand API access, hotel-supply connectivity or broader OTA pricing intelligence. NenoData can help determine whether Agoda Demand, Agoda Supply, an expressly authorized channel-observation workflow or another approved hotel source is the correct route, then define the search context, rate schema and structured delivery where supported.
Direct automated Agoda consumer-platform collection should proceed only after the relevant written permission or other approved access basis is confirmed.
